Design Your Bag Project
Istituto Marangoni is teaming up with UP TO YOU ANTHOLOGY for the DESIGN YOUR BAG Project, an incredible opportunity to create your dream bag and to bring it to the market.
We are launching this project to support and promote the work of outstanding alumni. Candidates are invited to share their creative ideas for any kind of bag, with no limitation to their creativity.
The best ideas will be selected by an honorary committee and will be produced and sold through uptoyouanthology.com

1. THINK
How would the bag of your dreams look like? Find your inspirations, collect references or make moodboards of your ideas.
2. SKETCH
Give shape to your imagination and sketch your bag until you find its final form. Think about possible details for the interior too.
3. GET TECHNICAL
Make the technical drawings of your bag, either by hand or with a software, with a front-back-side-top view, measurements and materials.
A coloured Rendering would be a plus.
4. PLAN YOUR STRATEGY
Show how you are planning to market and promote your bag once it's finalized- in a realistic way.
Write down or sketch your ideas.
5. WRAP IT UP
Gather all your notes, sketches, moodboards and suggestions in two files: one for the design of your bag, the other for your communication strategy. Your CV is also required. You can send additional documents if you would like to. (e.g. portfolio).
6. SUBMIT
You're done! Send your project ( .pdf .jpeg .tiff .zip - each file's size must be under 10MB) with a "name_surname_project" denomination.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT
To submit your project you have to fill out the form "Submit Project" on this current page. Once done, click the button "Proceed" and you will get an email from us.
To complete the submissions you only need to reply to that email attaching your project files. You can use a Wetransfer link if the file size is too big.

FAQ's
HOW MANY BAGS CAN I SUBMIT?
There is no limit to the number of projects you can submit. However, each bag must be complete of its own communication plan, so we strongly suggest on working on one or a few projects with accuracy.
HOW DOES THE BAG THAT WILL BE PRODUCED GET CHOSEN?
Once the submissions are closed, the selected Committee will examine the projects and select the final bag. The creator of the bag will be contacted shortly after the decision is taken.
HOW CAN I SUBMIT MY PROJECT?
You can submit your project by filling out the "Submit Project" form, afterwards you will receive an email to which you must reply attaching your project's files.
You must be a Marangoni Alumni in order to apply. Submissions are open from March 3rd until March 27th at 12PM CEST.
Projects submitted after the deadline will not be taken into consideration.
